This month our Allies had some great successes!

We had 6 new referrals!

❖ We enjoyed participating on local civic groups – the Human Services Chamber (Affordable Housing and Transportation Committees), and the Cincinnatus Association (Inclusion Committee and General Meeting).

This month we helped 30 people!!

Food Access: 14

• Ride to the grocery store / food pantry

• Help carrying groceries up the steps for recently disabled

• Emergency food delivery

Benefit systems / Vital Record / Basic Needs:  2

• Got a replacement ID

• Completed and mailed application for replacement Social Security card

Education / Employment / Financial: 5

• Provided bus cards to get to work, interviews and GED classes

• Help getting into the Catholic Worker House shelter

Housing: 8

• Assistance applying for rent / utility assistance and completing PIPP appointment

• Transportation and help to complete rental applications

• Facilitated positive tenant and landlord communication

• Found and got into a shelter with available beds

• Gained subsidized and Section 8 vouchers   

Medical: 2

• Bus pass to get to a medical appointment

• Help scheduling appointment and Medicaid transportation
