This month we helped 30 people!!

Our largest area of need was food access, with housing, employment, and benefits virtually tying for second.

  • Food access - 12

    • Transportation to the grocery store and food pantry

    • Delivering / carrying groceries up stairs for disabled Allies

    • Emergency food delivery

  • Education / Employment / Financial - 7

    • Provide bus cards for work and interviews

    • Connect families with Project Connect and UpSpring for children’s homeless needs

  • Housing - 6

    • Applying for rent / utility assistance

    • Help completing miltu-step subsidized housing applications and gathering required documents

    • Facilitated positive tenant and landlord communnication

  • Benefits / Basic needs - 6

    • Assistance connecting to Medicaid and unemployment

    • Ordered out of state birth certificate and replacement ID

    • Connected family to a resource for free diapers

  • Medical - 1

    • Provided bus pass for medical appointments

  • Legal - 1

    • Provided motivational and emotional support to get capias warrant recited

This month we also:

  • Began implementing our electronic health records system, Carelogic

  • Received 10 new referrals

We are off to a very busy start and I am excited to see what this year of growth brings!
