Food Access: 35
· Gave rides to food pantries/grocery stores
· Provided emergency food delivery
· Worked closely with our food provider partners at Door Dash, CAIN, and Adventist Outreach pantry in Avondale
· Began monthly food deliveries to an additional 7 households through a partnership with Adventist Outreach in Avondale
Benefit / Systems / Vital Record: 5
· Assisted Allies in completing and submitting SNAP & Medicaid applications
· Provided information on dual eligible coverage Medicaid / Medicare
· Neighborhood Allies 513 acted as a mailing address for applicants
Education / Employment / Financial: 6
· Provided bus cards to work and school
· Helped complete job application and connected Allies to work readiness programs
· Assisted with Free Application for Federal Students Aid (FAFSA) applications
Housing: 7
· Helped find housing that accepts Section 8
· Helped tenants with pest control supplies and basic eradication information
· Assisted Allies in reducing their bill costs via The Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP)
Medical and Behavioral Health Services: 8
· Helped Allies get their prescriptions, home from the ER, and get COVID-19 boosters
· Helped connect Allies to mental health services
This Month We Had 15 New Referrals!
· Outreach: My Neighbors Place, Other Organizations: Rosemary’s Babies, Adventist Outreach in Avondale, word of mouth, and social media
· Partnered with Miss Ohio to hold interactive motivational journaling groups
