In the month of January 2022, our organization served 46 people in various areas of need, with the largest area of need being food access. We provided transportation to grocery stores and food pantries, made monthly food deleiveries and also made emergency food deliveries.
Housing assistance was second where we provided assistance for applying for utility bill assistance, helped with PIPP appointments, helped with searching for housing for section 8 applicants and homeless shelters and finally Lanlord/tenant communications. Education, employment, and financial assistance was third with five people served, where we provided bus cards for work and interviews and transportation for banking needs.
Additionally, two people also received assistance with medical needs where we provided transportations to doctors appointments and helped with referrals and information for psychiatry servives. Finally we also helped another with Legal assistance by providing advocacy for fair child support and child custody. Our organization now has a full time attoney on staff to assist with Legal services.
