This Month We:

✓ We enjoyed sharing Neighborhood Allies information at an Urban League outreach event

✓ We are excited about working with Door Dash to help deliver shelf stable food and basic needs items to our allies

This month we helped 36 people!!

Food Access: 15

• Ride to the grocery store / food pantry

• Emergency food delivery

Benefit / Systems / Vital Record / Basic Needs:  2

• Replacement Social Security card – helped with the mail in application and also the online system

• Ordered birth certificates and got one from Elm Street clinic

• Assisted to complete food stamp applications

Education / Employment / Financial: 5

• Provided bus cards and assistance getting a uniform for new job

• Assisted with filing taxes and resolving past tax issues

Housing: 9

• Assistance applying for mortgage / rent / utility assistance

• Assisted homeowner to file for an evection of bad room mates

• Assistance finding housing that accepts Section 8

• Assisted with tenant / landlord communication to resolve issues

Medical: 2

• Help finding appropriate mental health TX

• Transportation to get prescriptions
